regarding the pattern: i'm thinking that the water settled on top of the residue left behind after my car was waxed... any other guesses?

I would have never guessed that was a car, it looks like a very high shot of the ground... maybe that's just me.
how could I have not taken aliens into account? rookie mistake. must have forgotten about their habit of playing "zen garden" with the frost on my roof.
At least you know they're peaceful...
Man I bet you're ready for summer. We're over here, just now getting back into the lower 90's.
